The American Chemical Society (ACS) Australia Chapter is part of the ACS International Chemical Sciences Chapters. Established in 2015, it aims to promote chemical sciences across Australia and foster professional collaborations globally. The Chapter was active from 2016 to 2019. However, by 2020, the Chapter had entered a period of dormancy, with no reports being submitted after 2019. While it remained an International ACS Chapter in name, its operations had essentially fallen into hibernation. In 2022, the ACS Australia Chapter was revitalized. The chapter organizes events, conferences, and networking opportunities for professionals and students in the field of chemistry.
